The Sir Howard Morrison Performing Arts Centre is set to re-open in mid-2022, providing our community with an outstanding regional performing arts centre. Prior to construction our project managers ensured comprehensive and expert investigations were made to estimate the condition of the building and inform the scope of work for our contractor Hawkins. As works have progressed the team has uncovered many challenges including far more widespread and severe cracking than estimated. In this video Rotorua Lakes Council Arts & Culture Manager, Stewart Brown, shows some of the challenges.
