The café is located in the original site of the Rachel Bath. The new design will be a nod to its earlier function, with floor treatment outlining the site of the original pool, and reinstatement of the original tiled dado.
A new mezzanine increases capacity and also provides fire egress from the viewing platform. The contemporary glass, lighting and stairs clearly differentiate the old from the new.
